I guess "good-bye" scared some people.

 

This simple post caused some to worry. Some to wonder if something was wrong. It's not. Not entirely that is. It's a statement that caused at least 423 people to date to react and 73 to comment. Yes, I'm saying good-bye for now to this post but not to you. I wonder now if you'll do this for me. Seek out the teacher that impacted you. I'm glad you sought me out. Seek out the others. It's summer break. They're wondering about alot of things. School funding. Job security. New rules. New classes. New administration. New supplies or fewer supplies. They need to hear from you. They need to know that they're making a difference. I can't thank you enough for stopping to tell me. Please- stop and tell them too. If it's a school counselor, an administrator, the custodian, the cook they all could use the word that what they said or did, without knowing it had an effect on you and where you are today. God has placed them in their position to impact you. Let them know. Bless them as you have blessed me. You are doing what I've asked quite well. Keep making me proud.

To all my former students. I've said many things in my time with you.

"Keep making me proud."

"I'll be praying for you."

BUT...

"The one I hope you always remember is,"Know what you believe and why you believe it." later I added an important note. "and if by chance, you find out you're wrong, continue to investigate and if you have been wrong, repent and change"

We can all do the right things for the wrong reason or the wrong thing believing it's the right thing. Please. Only one thing matters, Love God with all you heart, your mind, your soul and your strength and love each other as you love yourself." Please don't miss this.
